Sarah
a bit about me
Sarah is a 33-year-old ultramarathon runner who has called into the station regularly to share her insights on the latest running news and events, as well as her personal recollections. Sarah is a non-spiration to anyone who's ever thought about running an ultramarathon, or a beerathon.
Sarah's nickname comes from her habit of running with her arms flailing wildly. She claims it helps her to conserve energy and keep her pace up. While her running style may be unconventional, there's no doubt that it's effective. Jokes aside, it was a high school nickname that stuck - see if you can tease it out of me at some point. You might have played spotto with your kids locally, with this lass who never seems to stop moving. Sarah has completed numerous ultramarathons, including Irrational South, Feral Pig Ultra, and the Pipeline Marathon.
n addition to her running accomplishments, Sarah is also a wacke Geologist and an Athletics Coach. Sarah is passionate about sharing her love of running with others and she hopes to inspire others to pursue their own running goals.
When she's not running or talking about running, Sarah is also a big fan of the Flagpies, Storm, and Rafa Nadals right bicep. Sarah is a role model for women in sports, and she's sure to continue inspiring others for years to come
