Avon Descent
The Avon Descent Festival returns to Lilac Hill with a splash in 2026.
Join us on the banks of the Swan River at Lilac Hill Park, Caversham, to watch a portion of the incredible two-day 124km adventure challenge.
Entry is free.
Enjoy a day full of exciting activities and entertainment for the whole family, including:
Kid Zone – giant bubbles, friendship bracelet making, face painting, hair braiding bar, glitter tattoos and more
Free amusement rides, including dodgem bumper cars
Roaming entertainment
Artisan markets
Food trucks
Community activations.
And so much more.
