Of mainly Celtic origin (DNA), am English born but been in Australia since 86. Once a teacher of Economics, then spent 40 years plus in IT. A Father of 3 very successful children (my only real achievement). I am now living in Aveley

Very keen Badminton player, though my keenness exceeds my ability. Listen to the radio nearly all day except when I play music from my own fairly extensive collection.

Love, Rock, Soul, Funk, RnB, Reggae and some Disco and Pop from the 60,s, 70's and 80's in particular. I also like some Swing Jazz and a little bit of Classic. I do not like RAP for the most part, (with limited exceptions).

I hope to provide listeners with a real variety of music, to perhaps bring back memories of times past, or to enlighten younger listeners to the 'golden age' of popular music...(and to hear the original versions of some of the songs they discover on contemporary radio).
