a bit about me
I've been a long time supporter and member of VCA 88.5FM for the past 11 years and I have finally plucked up enough courage to get behind the microphone and host a music show - of my favourite decade of culture and music, the 80s.
I enjoy music of all kinds and our house usually has one source of music playing somewhere. I graduated school and university in the early 80s and then followed a dream of most Australians and travelled. I ended up in Reading, outside London in 1984 and settled down for a bit working and enjoying what was on offer in a much faster paced society.
The 80s have some wonderful memories for me during a time when we were all much younger, fitter and wearing less wrinkles! I met my husband at the end of the 80s and married in the early 90s, eventually returning to Australia in 2011.
Still married, enjoying retirement and still loving music and a joyful life!
